Unexpected hospitality in Kempten

The staff treated us like family. Sylvia, the owner, went out of her way to assist us with parking and recommended a good local restaurant for dinner. Breakfast featured fresh regional ingredients and was a highlight of our stay.

While the hotel itself was charming, the room got quite warm at night was nice. It was manageable, but the weather certainly played a role.

The hotel was comfortable, nonetheless I stayed for 1 night only. There were central heating, multi-channel TV, and a writing table in the rooms, which made them quiet and ideal. The location was great and brilliant, relatively close to Burghalde. It was across the good area: D

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. I expected coffee tea, cereal & toast but got eggs, sausage, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurts, pastries. In short a full German Breakfast of the first order.

The specially adjustable beds were unable to go soft enough for my wife's liking but I enjoyed the mid-range firmness and slept very well.

Great base for bike trips in the beautiful Allgäu countryside. We enjoyed events in the bigBOX Allgäu just 100m away. The staff was super helpful. Delicious breakfast options made mornings brighter. Highly recommend this place!

Welcoming, clean, typically German in style, fabulous breakfast, town centre near to shops, restaurants etc all in walking distance.Drinks, internet, books and magazines available at any time. Luggage left after room vacated and Taxi to station ordered.

The pet policy needs clearer communication to avoid confusion!!! The Wi-Fi access process is overly complicated and should be simplified!!! Inadequate heating noise and issues with fluctuating water pressure in showers can be bothersome!!!

Loved our queen room! Super comfy bed with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Breakfast was delish, and they offered a nice selection like shampoo and body soap. They even provided slippers and a safety deposit box for our stuff. Great service too, very thoughtful staff!
